For generations, America has relied on the steady leadership of those who wear the uniform—and on the unwavering devotion to the Constitution that binds us together. As retired U.S. generals and admirals, we carry that commitment long after leaving active service. The Oath we swore does not expire; it continues to guide our judgment, our sense of duty, and our belief in the promise of this nation.
Since 2016, we have spoken out when we believed America’s stability, security, or unity was at risk. We have raised concerns, offered analysis, and helped illuminate the challenges confronting our Republic. Many of the issues we highlighted have since gained national attention, leading to meaningful improvements and a safer, steadier landscape. While the work is far from finished, we take pride in knowing that our voice—with many others—has contributed to progress.
Today, the moment calls for more than commentary. It calls for continued leadership.
Our organization is growing beyond the role of informing the public. We are building a community of senior flag officers committed to purposeful action: strengthening institutions, promoting sound policy, and ensuring that future generations inherit a nation that is secure, resilient, and faithful to its founding ideals.
We believe America remains a force for good in the world. We believe the Constitution is a covenant worth safeguarding. And we believe that principled, non-partisan leadership—rooted in service rather than politics—is essential to meeting the challenges of our time.
With experience as our foundation and duty as our compass, we continue our mission: to uphold the values we defended in uniform and to help ensure that the Republic we love endures, strengthens, and thrives.
